Startup Pakistan to Spur Tech-Entrepreneurship in the Country
Mr. Muhammad Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth
Affairs chaired the first meeting of the Steering Committee on Startup Pakistan., a digital platform for
establishing Innovation Driven Entrepreneurs (IDE).
Startup Pakistan aims at creating inclusive, sustainable and scalable business ventures by digitally
connecting incubation centers, research partners, universities and accredited TVET institutes throughout
the country. It would focus on hands-on learning and learning by doing to ensure the maximum employability
of the trained tech entrepreneurs.
Mr. Muhammad Usman Dar thanked members of the Steering Committee for their valuable input and remarked,
“Through our collaborative efforts, we would be able to devise a robust platform for entrepreneurship development and the creation of jobs for our.”
